Work Environment:

Conveyancing involves legal procedure of transferring an ownership of flat/house, piece of land or commercial estates from one proprietor to another. As a licensed conveyances (specialist property lawyers), you'd manage the finances and paperwork included in selling and buying property within Wales and England.

Your major tasks would comprise:

  • drafting transfer and leases documents
  • investigating who legally have possession of the property being purchased
  • ensuring that agreements are signed and exchanged

  • carrying out investigations: inquiring regional authorities regarding any plans which may have an effect on the estate in the future
  • maintaining payments records
