WORK ENVIRONMENT:-

A telecommunications technicians is responsible for installing, testing, repairing the communication and data communication systems like:

Fixed-line and mobile phone telephony networks

  • Analogue and digital satellite systems
  • Fiber-optic and copper wire cabling
  • Wireless radio network giving Internet access through mobiles, PCs and PDAs

There are many ways to become a telecommunication technician. You can complete the Apprenticeship with a telecommunication, electronics or Information Technology company.

WORKING CONDITIONS:-

You will be working for 8 hours in a week from Monday to Friday. You will be required to cover emergencies and off-peak hours through on-call duties.
