In response to your recent advertisement in the Minneapolis News, please accept this letter in application for the senior construction estimator position currently available at Twin Cities Construction.

During over a decade working as a cost estimator, I have received regular promotions; these were based on the quality of my work. My B.S. in Construction Management has been particularly helpful as background for assuming the range of individual, team and supervisory responsibilities necessary for the job of an Estimator II. I have an excellent record of accuracy in estimating costs and a good working relationship with the major architects and vendors with which I would probably be working at your company. In short, I believe that I am well-prepared for the senior construction estimator position.
