Job Description:

Job description of route driver involves following tasks:

Expand every assigned account relative to market share, product distribution, space allocation, sales volume, and customer service.
Records the above service transactions on appropriate forms. Report any improper machine operation.
Keep cleanliness of truck and examine truck for imperfections and safe operating situation.
Deliver and sell goods along local routes.
Sell retail services and goods or wholesale products.
Conduct minor adjustment and repairs on machine operation like replacing display lights and removal of bent coins.
Resolve or reports client grievances and machine malfunctions.

Verify in orders, take product to designated region and load onto shelves.
Sustain security of property and cash by- locking unattended vehicles; protecting funds in a locked safe until returned to branch; safe keys at end of the shift as directed.
Offer outstanding service to assigned accounts; make and sustain goodwill among every client.
Recognize opportunities reliable with the priorities, objectives and policies of assigned clients.
Merchandise product sections, and rotate product, safely drive and unload the truck, and shift the product to the suitable locations.
Introduce clients to latest services and products, in adding to company promotions; listens to and resolve service grievances at assigned accounts.
Implement knowledge of driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at unreliable speeds in hard situations like inclement weather and heavy traffic.
Loads product into allocated vehicle and drives to a client location according to an established schedule.
Employ and maximize placement of point of sales, i.e. brochures, posters to raise sales of seasonal and strategic items.
Pick stock from the warehouse.
Establish and sustain outstanding customer service rapport, communicate among customers and vendors in a timely and friendly manner.

Skills:

Ability to subtract, add, multiply, and divide in every units of measure, utilizing common fractions, whole numbers, and decimals.
Able to resolve realistic evils and contract with a diversity of variables.
Ability to interpret a diversity of orders furnished in oral, diagram, written, or schedule form.
Ability to drive standard and manual transmission.
Knowledge of many routes to back up assigned drivers.
Willing to work outdoors in farthest weather circumstances including winter snow, heavy rains, and summer heat.
Manage delivery van in accordance through company safety procedures and policies
Delivery of clients' orders to homes and places of company in recognized time frames.
