• Reply to orders from emergency medical sender and drive particularly prepared emergency vehicle to particular location.
• Manage prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency, or in particularly equipped vehicle, perform such activities as application of splints, management of injections or oxygen intravenous, administration of artificial resuscitation, or treatment of minor wounds or abrasions.
• Support in removal of victims from vehicle and move of victims to treatment center.
• Decide the injured persons medical history and condition.
• Support treatment center confessing personnel to acquire and record information connected to victims' vital circumstances and statistics of emergency.
• Support in protecting valuables, controlling crowds, or performing other duties at scene of disaster.
• Observe communication equipment to keep contact with dispatcher.
• Keep vehicles and medical and communication equipment, and replenish first-aid equipment and supplies.
• Offer medical care based on pre-established norms.
• Support professional medical staff in emergency treatment managed at medical facility.
• Immobilize patient for position on transport and stretcher ambulance, utilizing backboard or other spinal immobilization equipment.
• Keep medical and vehicles and communication tools and replenishes first-aid tools and provisions.
• Manage drugs, verbally or by injection, and execute intravenous processes under a physician's direction.
• Interact among treatment center personnel and dispatchers to offer information concerning situation, to organize reception of victims, and to receive orders for additional treatment.
• Coordinate among treatment center employees to get patients' vital statistics and medical history, to decide the conditions of the emergency, and to manage emergency treatment.
• Treat and transport patients to a medical facility.
• Decontaminate ambulance interior following handling of patient by infectious disease and report case to accurate authorities.
• Drive intensive care unit to particular location, following orders from emergency medical sender.
• Carry out treatment procedures and emergency diagnostic, like airway management, stomach suction and heart monitoring, throughout ambulance ride.
