WORK ENVIRONMENT:-

A dental hygienist gives clinical care and recommendation and information on fine oral health to the persons and groups of patients. They work along with and under the guidance of dentist to assist in preventing the dental problems.

As a dental hygienist, you will make use of wide rage of dental instruments for:

You will have to work for more than 8 hours with frequent weekends and evening duties. If you are based in the hospitals, you can work on an on-call rota or in shifts. Part time hours and chances for self-employment are often accessible.
