With the traveling fair, you will be engaged in taking apart the rides and new attractions, packing equipments for transport and placing the rides at the subsequent site. QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- You will normally not require any qualification to handle the rides or attractions at the theme part or fairgrounds, but most of the employers will give preference if you are 18 years old or more. You can also begin at the age of 16 on the children rides. An LGV driving license will be helpful if you are performing the work in the traveling fair. TRAINING DETAILS:- Once you have started working as a fairground or theme par, you will generally be given training on the job together with more qualified staff. Your training will basically cover the areas like health and safety and customer service. You can take a NVQ in Mechanical Ride Operations (Level 2). If you are have experience in catering, customer care and sales it will be beneficial. With knowledge and managerial duties, you can work towards Leisure Management NVQ (Level 3).
