WORK ENVIRONMENT:-

Being a professional footballer you will have to play as a team's part at the national and international level.

Your everyday activities will differ as per the level of your team, but at each level you will:

  • take part in the matches in opposition to other team
  • make an analysis of the strong points and weak points of your team and opponent team
  • work along with specialist like your team manager, sports psychologist, physiotherapist and coaches

  • be present at usual training sessions to make an improvement in your skills and strength
  • carry out the work on strategies
  • give suggestions on diet and standard of living from doctors and nutritionists

Being a top player you might also have to go through the media interview and be remunerated for advertising the products by making an appearance in the advertisements.

In the lower leagues you may participate in work in the community, like as assisting the coach local children.

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:-

To get the opportunity to do well as a professional footballer you will normally start studying football skills at premature age and will normally be marked by a club talent scout while playing for a youth or school team.

Many expert clubs manage the Centers of Excellence or Football Academics, where the most capable players are given training from the age of nine. Almost all professional footballers are given training in this manner.

As a footballer all through your profession you should pursue severe training rules to manage your knowledge, skills and fitness.

Your professional playing profession will be short, and can come to end till the age of 35. It can also be sporadic or short due to injury. Being a FA Premiership player or Football League player and a Professional Footballers Association (PFA) member, you can receive the suggestion and guidance on the vocational and educational course which will help you to in preparing for second profession from the PFA.

You will travel with your national or club team to away matches all over the United Kingdom or abroad which will involve expending time away from home.

You will give training on many days, preferably early in the morning.

DIFFERENT OPPORTUNITIES:-

There are nearly 20 clubs in the Premier League and 24 in the Championship Leagues. You can make advancement by moving to a club superior in the league.

The top players in this line of work get attractive standard of living and very elevated salaries. Only some players arrive at this level and most of then shift to other profession after finishing their apprenticeship at the club.

In several countries women play football efficiently, but in England they play at proletarian level.

If you need to remain in the sports after your playing profession ends you can turn into area like referring, coaching, sports journalism, team management or sports center work.
