Communication is the procedure where information in enclosed and is channeled and passed on by a sender to recipient all the way through some means. The recipient then decodes the messages and provides a feedback to the sender. Every type of communication requires a message, sender and the intentional recipient.

Communication requires that all parties have a forthcoming commonality area. There are aural means like song, speech, tone of voice and there are nonverbal means like paralanguage, body language, sign language, eye contact, touch all the way through the media i.e. graphics, pictures, writing and sound.

Eventually, technology has developed and has formed novel forms of and thoughts relating to communication. The newer advances comprise of communication psychology and media psychology. Media psychology is a rising study field. These technology progresses transform the communication processes. Researchers have separated how communication was distorted into three radical stages.

In the first Information Communication Revolution, the first on paper message started, with symbol. These writing were done on stone, which were very weighty to transmit. Through this age, written communication was not movable, but nonetheless survived.

In the second Information Communication Revolution, writing started on the paper, clay, papyrus, wax etc. General alphabets were initiated, permitting the consistency of language across large distances. Later the Gutenberg printing-press was made-up. Gutenberg created this printing-press after a very long time in the 15th century.

In the third Information Communication Revolution, information can now be transferred through the electronic signals.
